SAMPLE PLAN / HOW IT WORKS

One page.
A whole service in view.

Your worship service should reflect the truth and beauty of God’s Word with songs and Scripture readings that develop a theme. In this service, reflecting on God’s majesty and holiness leads to a prayer for a clean heart.

THE WORSHIP FOCUS

God’s majesty and holiness.
A prayer for a clean heart.

Psalm 99 frames the service around the Lord’s reign and holiness. The opening songs express his kingship and majesty; the next pair dwells on holiness. The invitation becomes a prayer drawn from Psalm 51.

The plan names each element and key so musicians and leaders can work from the same page. Your church’s full service order can be developed around its own pastoral and ministry needs.

THE DETAILS THAT HELP REHEARSAL

Make the handoff
practical.

A specific transition to rehearse: the move from Holy, Holy, Holy in D to Holy Forever in B♭. Use a clear ending and a fresh count-in.

A Special with room for your team: the sample labels the element “Special” in B♭, leaving the specific selection and assignment to be confirmed with leadership.

A shared preparation process: beyond the one-page order, agree on volunteer assignments, rehearsal resources, communication, and how changes will be shared.
